Genshin Manga: Introduction
The Genshin manga is a Japanese comic series. Manga’s are illustrated books which take us through lives of the characters in the series and depict anecdotes of their lives. Manga is very popular in Japan, it does not cater to a specific age group of people, it adhere to everyone’s taste and preference from kids to adults and even the older people. The manga has a market share of about 6 billion today. The sales of the book are huge. Manga are sold as massively as 15 issues per person in a year, and then comparing these stats to Japan’s population one can only imagine the sales figures.
Genshin manga is actually based on a popular game by Mihoyo and is illustrated by a team of artists. The game it is inspired from is called Genshin impact, its was released in platforms such as android, ios, playstation, Nintendo switch and windows etc. The game is set up in a fantasy universe of the Teyvat. It has a single- player and multi- player mode available. It has grossed more than about $4 billion worldwide according to the stats of 2022. Genshin manga can be read on it’s official website or on webtoon in 13 different languages. The Genshin enjoys a huge fanbase because of the game too.
The setting of Genshin: Genshin Manga
The Genshin takes place in the world of Teyvat, and is composed of seven major nations named Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan and Snezhnaya. All of these nations are ruled by different Gods. In the underground, there lies the ruins of the nation of Khaenri’ah which was destroyed by gods 500 years back, before the events of manga are written.
The plot of genshin
The story revolves around a pair of twins who travel across different universes and come across Teyvat but they attempt to leave it after finding out the nation of Khaenri’ah under cataclysmic siege, where they are torn apart by God; he takes away one twin and seals away the other. The sealed twin is referred to as the traveller. He awakens 500 years later and meets Paimon whpo accompanies him in finding his other twin. The traveller then sets off a long journey full of adventure, danger, battles and roller coaster ride of emotions. At the end he finds himself at cross roads where he has to choose between helping his sibling or defeating the Abyss order.
